San Antonio Who?

Two nights ago a little basketball game was being played in South Beach. It was Game 2 of the 2013 finals, and the Miami exploded. Mario Chamlers really helped the Heat out. Also Lebron's monster blocked helped the Heat get enough energy to seal game two. If the Heat play like this every game it will be impossible to stop them. When everone including the bench players perform their best it's gonna be hard to stop them.

Stanley Cup

The hockey world is very excited this weekend for the beginning of the Stanley Cup. Most people are predicting another very impressive series from the Boston Bruins as they are carrying a lot of momentum from a sweep of the also impressive Pittsburgh Penguins. This is what we are also predicting that the Boston Bruins will win in 6 games.

Lions Are Ready

Have you been thinking about the Detroit Lions. Well we know Reggie Bush has been. Bush thinks that the Lions have enough firepower to win the superbowl this upcoming season. Now there's no question that the Lions have the talent with Calvin Johnson, Mathew Stafford, Reggie Bush and others. We here at LR Sportsblog think the Lions will for sure get a spot in the playoffs as a wild card. How far they go is very questionable because in recent years they just don't have the will power.

Bruins Win in Double OT

As many people had expected, last night the Bruins were able to pull off yet another win against the Penguins. However, this time the game was much closer than all of the other games that they have played in this close series. Also, both goalies this game stepped up, both saving over 30 quality shots from the opposition. Much like what Boston has done in every game in this series they went up fast, scoring their first goal less than 2 minutes into the first period. But the Pens' striked right back, scoring their first goal shortly following Boston's goal. As the game progressed after this Penguins goal both teams were not able to sneak a goal past either of the goalies. This broke in the second overtime when Patrice Bergeron snuck a goal past Thomas Vokun to win the game.

Heat Win in Game 7

NBA Finals Match up is set, the Spurs will play the Miami Heat in the 2013 NBA Finals. A very big game game by Lebron gave the Heat a game seven win. Lebron had thirty-two points and eight rebounds. There's no question that the Miami Heat really won the game inthe first half. The second quarter more than the first. They outscored the pacers thirty-three to sixteen in only the second quarter. That left the pacers in a pretty big hole to climb out of. Even the pacers could not manage that.

Bruins Win Game 2

Boston again last night impressed the NHL by once again dominating the Penguins. From the start of the game Pittsburgh was making mistakes all over the ice, which on most of these mistakes Boston was able to capitalize. This was the reason for the sheer dominance of Boston, and if Pittsburgh hopes to stay in the series they're going to have to stop turning over the puck which has resulted in most of Boston's goals.

Tigers Hammer Orioles Saturday Night

The long ball was the Detroit Tigers key to success saturday night. It was a wild half inning in the 4th when Victor Matinez went deep, followed by Jhonny Peralta the next at bat. The Alex Avila went deep right after that. Back-to-back-to-back homers from the tigers 5-6-7 hitters.

The next  batter was Matt Tuiososopo who took a ball of the sholder, which got the Orioles pitcher ejected from the game. It was only a few batter later when the bases were loaded for the Triple Crown Winner Miguel Cabrera. The big fella hit a long bomb like he is used to doing. The Tigers got 3 solo homeruns, followed by a grand slam before the Orioles even got a single out.

Tigers ace Justin Verlander went seven innings only letting up 3 runs, and 8 hits to win his 3rd straight start. Moving him to 8-0 against the Orioles
Final Score:
Detroit Tigers- 10
Baltimore Orioles- 3

W-
Justin Verlander (7-4)
L-
Jason Hammel (7-3)

Pacers Force Game 7

Paul George and the Indiana Pacers pulled off another staggering win on Saturday night. Now the pacers have all the momentum to pull off a stunning playoff upset. The pacers arent the only thing standing in the way of Miami's third straight NBA Championship appearance. The other thing, Chris Bosh and Dewayne Wade.
Roy Hibbert did everything he could to stay alive in game 6. He finished with 24 points and 11 rebounds. He also contested a lot of the Heat's shots. Paul George scored 28 points, had 8 rebounds and 5 assists, and the Pacers held Miami to 36 percent shooting as they punched their ticket back to Miami for Game 7 on Monday night.

The Pacers are one win away from sending themselves back to the NBA Championship, a thing they have one done once before in 2000 as they lost to the Lakers 4-2.

The Heat have been able to control the Pacers "Down Low" surge when Hibbert is  not on the court. But, Hibbert play most 42 minutes on the floor saturday night.

The Heat struggled, meanwhile, starting the game just 3 of 22 from inside the 3-point line. Miami's Big Three, Lebron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh -went just 14 of 40 from the floor. Excluding James, Miami managed only 16 baskets - eight 3s and eight 2s.
Final Score:
Miami Heat- 77
Indiana Pacers- 91
